Lake of the Ozark Details for 3/1/2008

Lake of the Ozarks details:

Lodging: Lake House Inn, Laurie, phone 573-374-7744.  They are located on Highway 5, about ½ mile south of the “O” intersection in Laurie.  Please mention you are from Fishers of Men when you make reservations.

Meeting: 6:30 PM  We will again meet at Sunrise Bible Church.  Some of you will remember we were there two years ago.  The meeting begins at 6:30 PM, registration will start at 6:00.   Sunrise Bible Church is not quite 2 miles South of Highway “O” in Laurie.

Take off/Weigh In:  Shawnee Bend Ramp – take off at 7:00 AM, weigh in at 3:00 PM.

Directions to Shawnee Bend:  From Highway “O” it is South on Highway 5 about 4 miles.  Turn East (the only way you can) onto ”F”.  When the “F” bends to the right, bear left to the ramp.  Stay to the left , do not turn right on “M” or you will be on the toll bridge.  Watch for the sign for the ramp on the left.

Tackle supplies:  Bryant’s Osage Outdoors.  Huge selection, nice store.  Worth stopping in.  For those of you that have asked about McCoy line, they carry it.  A strong supporter.  See his amazing display of Guido Hibdon’s plaques. 

Watch for details on our next event at Bull Shoals.  It will be a joint tournament with the Fishers of Men, Northeast Arkansas Division.  Teams can enter one or both events.  Should be exciting!
