2008 Fishers of Men-Ozark Division Incentives

 Team events, unless otherwise stated

 ·         “New Believer” Bibles will be available to all who make a first time profession of faith.

·         “Sportsmen” Bibles will be available.  Donation requested but not required.

·         Bonus Money – If an event has between 1 and 25 boats, first place winners will receive an additional $250.00 if they qualify.  Bonus money will go up to $500.00 if an event has between 26 and 50 boats, $750.00 for between 51 and 75 boats, and $1000.00 for 76 boats and over.  In order to qualify for the bonus money, both members of the winning team must have attended the Friday night meeting, have no penalties at weigh in, and not be disqualified. 

·         Guaranteed first place purse – First place winners will be guaranteed a minimum of $1000.00.  Winnings from all pots and bonuses will count toward the $1000.00 minimum.  This means that if we only have three boats (minimum for conducting an event), the winners will still share a total purse of $1000.00!  To be eligible for the guaranteed purse, both members of the winning team must have attended the Friday night meeting, have no penalties at weigh in, and not be disqualified.

·         The team weighing in the smallest stringer will receive a “consolation prize”.     

·         Friday night meeting participant will be given an opportunity to contribute financially to support drawings for special prizes (pending approval by host location) in addition to regular door prize drawings.  In return, for their support they will be eligible to receive the special prizes.

·         Bonus Bucks will continue – 100% payback, paying 3 places.  For both Team and Legacy events

·         Prize drawings will be held after each event weigh in.  Must be present to win.

·         The “junk fish” pot will continue – 100% payback for largest legal, non-bass fish (no turtles or snakes).  For both Team and Legacy events.

·         The angler catching the Big Bass for the year will receive recognition.

·         A new team will be recognized as “Rookies of the year.”  To be eligible, the team must be the highest finishing rookie team in points, neither team member can have fished a prior Fishers of Men event in the Ozark Division, must participate in all events, at least one member must be present at all Friday night meetings, and have no penalties or disqualifications for the year.  If a team fails to meet all qualifications, the next highest, eligible, rookie team will be selected.

·         $20.00 off the price of button front Fishers of Men Tournament shirts for teams paying all five entries in advance.
